The Fans and blowers can be defined as equipment which is used to provide air for ventilation and industrial process requirements. These basically generates a pressure to move air against the ducts and dampers. The fan works on the principle of a rotor wherein the rotor receives energy from the rotating shaft and transmits it to the air. The basic difference between fans and blowers is by the method used to move the air. The Fan can be catogorised into two types, they are centrifugal flow and axial flow. In centrifugal flow airflow in the fan changes direction twice, in axial flow it doesn't change direction.
