The global consulting firm ZS Associates has expanded its advanced data sciences and analytics team by launching a new office in Bengaluru. It is a 20,000 sq. ft. workplace in Bengaluru that can accommodate 200 employees. In 2005, ZS started its first Indian office in Pune and added a second location in Delhi in 2009. Now, it has added a new office in Bengaluru, which is its 23rd office worldwide. The company is one of the leading data analytics providers in the world.
ZS was founded in 1983 by Andris Zoltners and Prabhakant Sinha who were professors at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Its first office was based in Illinois. Sanjay Joshi, Managing Principal and Head of Asia, ZS Associates India Pvt. Ltd. stated that our teams in India constitutes 65 percent of our global talent. They have always worked in conjunction with the teams in global offices. India is a place where innovative data-driven analytical solutions are developed for our clients. Every year the company hires around 600 to 700, both freshers and laterals, to support growth and back-up for attrition since last three years. When a candidate is hired from IIT-Trichy or IIT-Madras, they contribute so much to the firm that they end up being a partner in the company. Indian team members are always a part of every innovation taking place in the ZS.
According to Coursera, the global leader in online education, India is among the top five countries with the maximum number of enrolments in data science courses on its platform. ZS has worked with over 1,200 firms in 70 countries across biotech, pharma, and consumer products among other industries. The company offers data-driven strategies to the clients which help them gain market share at a lower price. It uses sophisticated business intelligence technology and data analytics to assist their clients in finding the revenue-generating gems in the big data haystack.
Outsourcing some or all of analytics can pinpoint cross and upselling opportunities, improve customer segmentation, and discover new techniques to deliver value. There is not a single data source that can provide the companies with insights about the customers. Data needs to be collected from several data sources. Handling the data sources is quite complex task. The company states that many of our clients are realizing the need to outsource data analytics and are now developing a plan for how they can involve with an outsourcing partner.
