Intel has developed open-source software to simplify big data analytics in cloud computing. Intel is working with Penn Medicine, Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai to deploy this software. The IT company collaborated with Penn Medicine to use Data Analytics to predict illnesses early, says Mike Draugelis, chief data scientist at Penn Medicine.
