Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) devices are used to heal wounds by applying sub-atmospheric pressure using sealed dressing connected to vacuum pump. The vacuum source generates negative pressure to remove fluids, exudates, and infectious materials from wound and increases the flow of blood for healing purposes.
