Financial stability is the most important criteria for energy companies in choosing a potential ICT vendor, with the highest rating of X on the scale of 1 to 4. The financial stability of an ICT vendor ensures that it is capable of providing support and maintenance relating to its technology in the future. The survey finds that the majority of energy companies either have a very complex or a somewhat complex ICT infrastructure.
